Founded in 2005 by Naik Vinod Kumar (Retd), a distinguished ex-commando of the prestigious 9 PARA SF, Military Equipment® is a brand born out of experience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to providing top-tier tactical gear for the Indian Armed Forces. Having endured some of the world’s most arduous and inhospitable environments during his service, Vinod Kumar’s background has been the cornerstone of the brand’s success.

Our Story: From Battlefield to Innovation

During his service, Naik Vinod Kumar faced extreme conditions—from the freezing tundra to the scorching deserts and dense jungles. The constant demand for high-quality, reliable military equipment in such challenging environments inspired him to establish Military Equipment®. Today, our company continues to supply elite forces across India, including the MARCOS, Special Forces, Anti-Terror Squads, Ghatak Forces, Special Frontier Forces, COBRA, National Security Guards, Special Task Force, Anti Terror Squad and many more.

We have organized visits for our trainees at GRTU to see his facility and interact with him. Vinod Kumar is manufacturing Rucksacks, sleeping bags, pouches, bags, boots and all kinds of eqpt used by Army units and others to a very high standard. He has worked hard over the years since he left service to build up his business to the present level, employing about 70 skilled workers with state of the art machines.
